“Albania”, I replied. And my co-workers looked at me with their confused look.
True, Albania is not a popular holiday destination (yet). But, it is a hidden gem in the Balkans.
Their sandy beaches with pristine water are untouched. Plus point for them not being crowded at all as well.
It is remarkable to be able to see how a previously isolated country opens up to the world again with the new generation included in the equation.

Albania has it all! In the sense of offering both the mountains and the beach nature scenario. It is definitely one of the destinations where one can combine both leisure sunbathing and active hiking activities.

At last, why spend double the price (or even more) if you could enjoy equally great meals, summer breeze, and cultural attractions here in comparison to other major tourist destinations.
