Let’s travel a bit through time. If you could just meet the 17 years old you, what would you advise him/her? For me, it would be, ”Learn German because one day you will live there.”

Isn’t life unpredictable? As a kid you would most probably imagine your life differently from what you currently have right now. And honestly, that is the most customary thing that one can have. How are we longing for certainty in life as we grow older? Since it gives one the impression of control in life. But honey, nobody can see the future vividly. It is an ugly, yet beautiful truth that lies objectively there. Some days you would be knocked out from your game, but on some days serendipity would find its way back at you. Those bittersweet events complete you as you grow older, shaping you into a more evolved version of you along your life journey.

In the end, we might just want to enjoy these good moments and time, giving them the chance that they deserve. When life gives you lemon, make a lemonade, so they say. But would you make something when life gives you those chocolate or would you just pass it as it arrives?
